Hello...a while between these posts.
We had a busy and eventful (like always) winter season, though it was without snow. 😕
We went out our Christmas eve service here in Gettysburg, here is our pic from that.
We travelled to Ga to be with Rebekah's family in Lafayette, GA. We all travelled together in a van and stayed in a Vrbo. The plan worked out well, and we had a good time visiting with them over Christmas.
After this visit, Madi and Clark went with Clark's family to the Cotton Bowl in TX.
Abby continued through 7th Grade, and doing well. She is still playing the cello. She had her Christmas concert and her spring concert. She is learning and growing and sounding good. Pics tough to come by....here is a link to her Spring Concert.
2023 Spring Concert
Abby continued swimming from Oct through Feb. She had practice 3-4 days a week, and enjoyed time with her teammates. She did make all-stars in the 100 free which was a nice finale. Here are some pics of her swim season.

Despite no snow, Ski Liberty was open and we were able to get in 2.5 days of skiing. Always fun for us...hoping for a better season next season.
Andrew finished up well completing the fall semester of his Junior year. He had a successful indoor track season where he ran a few PR's and ran the 5000 at the SOCON Conference meet.
He made the SOCON Conference all academic team for Cross Country which was a nice honor.
Here are some pics from his indoor season.
He is well into his spring semester now, and doing well. He is on a team trip to Myrtle Beach for training and spring break. His summer plans are set with a month long class and trip to France and then he is attending ROTC Advanced camp ( A mandatory 6 week training between Jr and Sr year for ROTC and commissioning as an Army Officer after graduation). A busy summer for him.
We had an interesting weekend at the end of January where Madi came up from Arlington, VA to take Abby to her swim meet and then back to her place while Rebekah and I went and saw Andrew compete. After watching Andrew, Rebekah and I met Madi and Abby in Arlington, when to downtown Alexandria and stayed overnight. It was a great weekend of traveling and seeing all of the kids. Here is pics from time downtown that night.
Another cool meeting happened in February. Andrew found out he was running at Liberty University at the last minute (we had planned to go, but the decision came about too late) and Madi was in town visiting her alma mater and a friend and was able to see Andrew run. Pretty cool. Here is a pic.
The big January event, was Abby turned 13. We had a low key celebration at home and then she had a Saturday event with her friends after swim ended. We went ice skating in Harrisburg, the to Taylor Chip cookies in Hershey, and home. It was a great time for her and her friends.
Abby also got her ears pierced......a long time coming since we tried when she was younger.....
Abby is planning on trying out Middle School track with spring. Andrew will continue with outdoor track and finish his semester up and head into his busy summer.
Madi has moved in and is getting familiar with her surroundings in Arlington, VA. It is great to have her close and have opportunities to get together. She continues to work for the Center Square as their reporter for VA and WVa.
Rebekah continues to work her Mary Kay business. I made a change for the first part of this year. I took the semester off and accepted the opportunity to do a 6 month active duty military duty tour at the Pentagon. I have been able to work remotely half the time, so it is manageable for the family and good opportunity.
Lots going on....hope you are doing well......until next time.
