Holidays 2015

We had a great Thanksgiving with family.  Madi missed time with us so she could attend the National Field Hockey Festival in LaQuinta CA with her club team.  It was a great opportunity and a unique experience.

Andrew started his Christmas off well with a Black Friday deal on an XBOX ONE at Walmart.  We made it in and out in under an hour...pretty good and as you can see, he is happy.

Abby got a Black Friday Christmas dress that she tried on a posed in....

I had the opportunity to travel to Maxwell AFB in Montgomery AL to participate in the commissioning of one of my unit members, Matt Lindstrom.  I attended the Dining In and then was able to participate in the commissioning the next day.

Additionally, I was able to visit briefly with the Commandant, Col Scott Lockwood, who was also an Army War College Classmate of mine.  I also had dinner with Lt Col Walt Moddison who is a long time friend from my base in Baltimore and who is "enjoying" Air War College for the year.

Andrew's 8th Grade basketball season has started well.  Madi has been playing indoor field hockey once a week with her high school team. Here are some attempts at a few pictures of Andrew at his Christmas Tournament.

Grammy brought over some Ginger Bread Cookies to decorate after one of Andrew's basketball games.

We have been travelling to Grandpa's church outside of Baltimore for Christmas eve the past 2 years.  This year, Madi played her violin as part of the service.  She did a great job.

We opened presents at home with Grandma and Grandpa.  Traveled to Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Susan's house for lunch with Grammy and Gramps and then finished with dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We went to the annual gathering with great Aunt Connie in Greencastle on the day after Christmas.

Andrew and I saw the new Star Wars movie with one of his friends during Christmas break.  Good time and great movie.

For New Year's, we ate the seafood at my parents house and then the girls headed downtown for the Gettysburg New Year's Celebration.

We had a busy, but good 2015.  Hope you had a good year.  Until next time....
