It has been a cold and snowy January. Andrew, Abby, Rebekah, and I have all been afflicted with the sicknesses running around. This picture represents all of our moods at one point....
We did break our Abby's Easy Bake Oven from Christmas. Madi helped her make cookies. The cookies are hilariously small, but are good and make for a good time.
Abby turned 5 on January 29th. We had a gathering with family on Thursday night after Andrew's last basketball game. Frozen is still the focus of most of her toys. Her big gift was an American Girl Isabella Doll. We had pizza and cake at Abby's request.
That Saturday, Abby had a party with some friends from preschool. It was Frozen themed. She just wanted to have friends come and play. We did have a Frozen pinata as an activity. It was a good time.
Andrew is approaching the end of his 7th grade basketball season. It has been a good experience. Here is his picture and team photo.
He has ventured into playing xbox online with friends which is good on snowy days. He still gets out when he can to play basketball and airsoft. Here is a picture with some friends going to play airsoft in the snow- he's on the far left.
Madi is doing well. Finished her first semester well. She is headed to the end of her field hockey indoor games and continues to run pretty regularly despite the weather which keeps her in pretty good shape for track. Here is a picture of her and her friend Leni after building a snowman during one of Leni's stays with us.
Looking forward to spring and spring activities. Madi will be doing varsity track and Andrew will be doing jr high track. We have signed Abby up for AYSO soccer this spring, that will be an experience.
Hopefully you are doing well and we wish you a good start to your spring. Until next time....
