Fall 2014

Hello.  We had a good fall of 2014.  School started off well for all the kids.

Madi had a very exciting field hockey season.  She was able to earn a starting role as a forward and the team went undefeated in their league and ended up 16-1 prior to entering district playoffs.  They won the regular season league division title, and then won the league (YAIAA) tournament.  She was blessed with great teammates and great coaches.  We also feel blessed that her eye injury did not impact her very much for this season.  Here are some pics of her in action.

This was a clip from the paper representing a big win against a local rival. That's Madi with her hands raised.

This clip was after they won their first league tournament game vs Dallastown.  Madi is #3.

Here is a team picture after winning the League Championship

Abby attended her share of field hockey games.  Here is a picture of her after Madi's field hockey team won the league title.

I found this picture of Madi during the District game vs Greenwood on the York Daily Record Newspaper site...pretty good picture.

Madi also earned her second varsity letter ( first one in track last spring ) and received it at her banquet.

Andrew ran middle school cross country this season as a 7th grader.  They raced on 2 mile courses.  He ran well and finished well.  I think it was enough to keep him interested enough to try track and cross country again next year. It was great to get a chance to see him run.

Abby had a good fall.  She had a great start to  pre-school. Here is her school picture.

Here are some pictures of her at an explore museum with Grammy.

Here is a picture of Abby with some crazy hair that I just had to include....

We did still do Trick or Treating....Andrew left with the neighborhood boys before we were able to get a picture.  Here are pics of Abby and Madi.  Abby dressed in Anna's Coronation Dress (in case you are not a Frozen fan) and made it to many houses and got a lot of candy.  Madi made her own Peter Pan costume to wear to the home football game as part of a student organized effort to dress up to sit in the student section...

The winter seasons will have Andrew playing Middle School Basketball, Madi playing indoor field hockey and continuing with her violin, and Abby will continue to attend school, AWANA, and her siblings sporting events, of course.

Hopefully you had a great fall.  Wishing you a good start to the winter season....
