Busy fall here as always.
Madi got settled in at Liberty University. She got off to a good start academically and has experienced alot socially already. She made the orchestra and has played in numerous concerts this fall. She was also able to make connections where she was able to help get a club field hockey team approved at Liberty. She is very excited about that.
Here are some pictures of her time first semester freshman year.
Andrew had a good start to his semester as well. He had a very good cross country season. He started off well at the Enos Yeager Invitational before the season began. This trio turned in quite a season. They led the team to a 16-4 dual meet season, all three medaled at the YAIAA County Meet and all three medaled a the District 3 meet and qualified for states. Very exciting for all of them.
Here are some pictures from the season:
Andrew had a good experience at the State meet at Hershey. The course was tough. Lots of hills. The atmosphere was different as well. It was a good end to a great season and will serve him well next season, hopefully.
In addition to these honors, Andrew earned his second varsity letter for Cross Country.
Andrew also attended Homecoming. He had a good time.
Abby had a good start to second grade. She continued with gymnastics during the early fall.
Here is her school picture.
Abby was recognized with a Whale Done award at school for Responsibility. It was a nice recognition and Rebekah was able to attend. She also earned a movie and pizza.....all great things for Abby. Here is a picture.
Abby also went trick or treating with her friend. It is still one of her favorite times of year. Andrew handed out the candy.
Abby also did the annual race for education. Fun to spend some time with her running and walking on the track. Fun that all 3 kids have done this throughout the years.
Madi will be finishing up first semester at Liberty University, Andrew will start high school basketball, and Abby will continue gymnastics and maybe swimming between now and the end of the year.
Hope you are well. Until next time....
