Abby started her spring with a few school events. She accomplished 100% on her knowledge-a-thon and got treated to a dinner at the school hosted by the teachers. It is an annual event and the kids get to dress up for it. Here are a few pictures of Abby beforehand.
She also had her fine arts night. Her class sang "The Bare Necessities". It was quick, but fun.
After the program, we walked to Mr G's - beat the crowd - for a chocolate ice cream cone. A good ending to the program.
Madi started her first official job. She got a job at the popular Mr G's Ice Cream Shop in town. It is neat because we are frequent customers there. They wear Life is Good shirts and hat...here is a picture of her getting ready to drive to work...
Easter came early this year. After church, we had our traditional Easter dinner and egg hunt at Grammy's house. Here are some pics.
Because it came so early, my birthday was that Monday. We had some cake after the Easter egg hunt.
Abby started taking gymnastics at the Hanover YMCA once a week. She enjoys it. Tough to get good pics, but here are a few.
Andrew had a very good middle school track season. He ran the 1600, 800, and a leg of the 4 x 400. Here are some pics.
Madi played spring field hockey with her club team. Here are a few pictures from the Shippensburg Tourney.
Abby had a spring school picture taken. It was a good one...
Madi attended Prom with a friend. Madi looked beautiful and she had a good time with her friends. Here are a few pics.
Andrew ended his Middle School Track career on a positive note. He ran at the New Oxford Middle School Invitational in the 1600 and got out leaned for 2nd. His 3rd place finish (5:01) earned him a medal. A fun ending.
Madi celebrated her 17th Birthday in May. She did a few things with friends. Here is a sampling of her gifts.
All the kids finished up school on a good note. Summer looks busy with Madi working, college visits, a vacation to Williamsburg, Fall sports prep, and of course visiting the pool. Madi will be entering her Senior year, Andrew will be a Freshman, and Abby will be a 1st grader.
Looking forward to it....wishing you a great start to your summer.....
